A Sparrowhawk came to dinner!

This spectacular visitor has just had to be rescued from our garage!

  8. What an absolute privilege to be able to hold a bird like that - wonderful. The picture is fantastic - you can see right into his beak. What camera did you use?

    1. It's really nothing special, just a small digital Canon Ixus 90IS. We'd hardly used it until I started the blog - now it's red hot!

    2. Well, i can tell you that shot puts professional cameras to shame! I am totally envious! Also, looking at some of the other photographs on your site, the Ixus is doing a sterling job.
